Recent years, the number of overweight people is increasing. But perceptions of weight are low. This is causing increase of overweight people and the people accompany the risk of overweight.
The ABS National Health Surveys says overweight and obese BIM of females in 2004-05 rise 5% in comparison with 1995. And the overweight BIM of males exceeded normal BIM in 2004-05. The overweight rate of the males BIM is high. This may be connected with the lowness of perceptions of weight in comparison with females BMI. Successively, the obesity rates of 45-64 age groups are the highest by age.
These causes are too little exercise, namely, inactivity. “Inactivity is one of the main reasons why two-thirds of men and over one half of woman in the 45 to 64 age group overweight or obese,” says Associate Professor, Gavin Turrell. “Being inactive increases the risk of obesity, chronic disease, heart disease, diabetes, come cancers, arthritis and depression.”
He also says if the 45 to 64 age group don’t become more active and lose more weight, they will compromise their health, their quality of life and place a great burden on the health care system.
The solution of this problem is become dull and listless. And you have to self-control, so it is important to recognize your weight. It goes without saying that it is necessary to take moderate exercise for 30 minutes, 2.3 times in a week.
